Ever since I was a child I wanted to be an artist. I love the way images can be made by stroking paint onto paper. A Welsh poet once said that if you choose the work you love then the harder you work the happier you will be. He was right.
This has really been a journey of discovery both in terms of style and subject matter. I now see the natural world with different eyes, always searching for shapes, patterns, textures, colours and hues that are observable from a distance
Adam Buick is a ceramic artist based in St.Davids on the west coast of Wales. He works primarily on large-scale ceramics for landscapes, gardens and interiors. From his new studio in St.Davids Adam creates his unique wood fired ceramics.
