Born and educated in Pembrokeshire, Lee began playing the clarinet when he was 14.
He won the 2005 Young Musician of Dyfed Competition and the 2006 Rotary Club Young Musician of the Year as well as being a regional finalist in the Texaco Young Musician of Wales.
His concert appearances have included St David’s Cathedral Festival, Aberystwyth MusicFest. In addition to being a member of the Three Counties Wind Band and National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales, he plays in the Tenby Woodwind Quartet, winners of the Young Ensemble of Dyfed Competition 2007.
Lee is a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and
Drama and studies with the renowned Clarinettist and teacher
Leslie Craven, Principle Clarinettist of the WNO.
